Daniel Davies, son of Dave Davies of The Kinks, is an English and American singer, guitarist and songwriter. He is best known for his work in the rock band Year Long Disaster as front man and lead guitarist. He also collaborated with the Stoner Rock band Karma to Burn as an occasional guitarist and vocalist.
Davies is currently working on his solo project under his own name and released his first EP 'Hidden Faces' in October 2011.

In 2004, Davies formed Year Long Disaster with bassist Rich Mullins and drummer Brad Hargreaves. In 2005, the trio recorded their first EP with Mark Needham, producer for The Killers, and began touring nationwide. In 2007, they signed a recording contract with Volcom Entertainment and released their self-titled debut album later that year. They toured internationally for 2 years, then begun working on their second album "Black Magic; All Mysteries Revealed" with award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz. The album was released in March 2010.

In 2010, Davies joined Instrumental band Karma To Burn as an occasional guitarist and singer. He provided vocals on "Waiting on the Western World" on Appalachian Incantation (2010), "The Cynics", "Jimmy D" and "Never Say Die" on V (2011)
Early 2011, Davies started working on his solo project. He teamed up with drummer Jess Margera (from CKY and The company Band) and got bassist Brad Davis (from Fu Manchu) to record his first EP "Hidden Faces". The 5-songs-EP was released digitally in October 2011. A vinyl and CD edition are expected later this year.
